The Judge Group is seeking a Project Engineer for a manufacturing company located in the Seneca Falls, NY area.
Title: Project Engineer
Location: Seneca Falls, NY
Salary: $85,000 - $105,000
Responsibilities
- Manage capital improvement projects from planning through implementation and start-up.
- Develop equipment specifications, process designs, facility layouts, and technical solutions.
- Coordinate activities with vendors, contractors, maintenance, and operations personnel.
- Lead project reviews, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Drive operational improvements focused on safety, efficiency, quality, and reliability.
- Support equipment commissioning, troubleshooting, employee training, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure successful execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related Engineering field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing project engineering position.
- 3-5 years managing capital projects involving production or packaging equipment installations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience with budgeting, cost analysis, and financial justification of projects.
- Proficiency with Autodesk products and CAD software.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
