Position Summary
Our Specialty Food Retailer is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Associate to keep our specialty food stores operating smoothly. This role is ideal for a reliable, mechanically skilled professional who enjoys problem-solving, staying active, and assisting with facility needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Communicate maintenance priorities clearly with store leadership
Hands-on facility maintenance and repairs
Troubleshoot and address plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general equipment issues
Perform minor carpentry, patching, painting, fixture repairs, and general buildingupkeep
Conduct routine inspections and proactively identify maintenance needs
Order and manage maintenance tools, parts, and supplies
Escalate issues requiring licensed professionals to the Store Manager and GeneralManager
Maintain basic records of repairs, inspections, and servicing schedules
Working knowledge of food safety and storage requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
High school diploma required; Associate?s degree preferred
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 4+ years of hands-on maintenance or facilities experience
Retail, grocery or food service environment experience strongly preferred
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
Refrigeration experience or certification is a plus, not a requirement
