Our client is currently seeking a Diesel Mechanic Technician for they facility located in Middletown NY.
We're looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our overnight team. If you're a dependable technician who takes pride in keeping equipment running safely and efficiently-and you prefer the quiet, focused pace of third shift-this is a strong fit for you.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel trucks, trailers, and related equipment
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and DOT inspections
- Troubleshoot engine, transmission, electrical, and brake systems
- Complete work orders accurately and efficiently
- Safely move equipment in and out of the shop using your
- Collaborate with the team to ensure all units are road-ready by morning
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy-duty technician
- Strong understanding of diagnostic tools and repair procedures
- Ability to work independently on third shift
- Commitment to safety, quality, and reliability
