SHIPPING/RECEIVING/WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT (DISPATCHER)
Frozen food manufacturing plant located in Tappan, Rockland County, NY, seeks a full-time Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse Assistant (Dispatcher) with minimum 2-4 years of shipping & receiving/warehouse and forklift experience, to work in warehouse, production plant and freezer areas.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and loading merchandise onto trucks
- Receiving, inspecting and accepting inbound freight orders; storing orders
- Recording lot numbers for outgoing shipments and tracking shipments
- Supplying the Production department with raw materials
- Wrapping and removing finished products from the Production floor
- Storing produced items
- Conducting freezer and warehouse inventory
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Good math (add and subtract) and communication skills
- Forklift trained
- Well organized, detail-oriented and accurate
- Computer knowledge
- Good interpersonal skills
